Tabiano is a small and nice town distant only 3 kilometers from Salsomaggiore. As Salso, also Tabiano is plunged in the green of the surrounding hills and invites the tourist to relaxing walks, so much that the main street coasts the "A. Porcellini" park, rich of lanes, paths and comfortable benches. Next to the park, there is a playing area for children and a sporting center.

Tabiano undoubtedly owes its fame to the effectiveness of its sulphured waters, that generally have different therapeutic indications from those of Salsomaggiore. To best exploit these waters, Tabiano has a modern thermal spa, the "Respighi" thermal baths, recently renovated and redesigned with a wonderful front architecture (in the photo).
Salsomaggiore and Tabiano are connected by a regular bus service.
